News Archive 24/12/07 First of all, for those of you who may be curious, I managed to complete NaNoWriMo for the fourth year in a row. Woo-hoo! Secondly, in the immortal words of Slade; it's Chriiiiiistmaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaas! Yes, tomorrow will be Christmas Day, which will mean plenty of gifts to give and receive. I've decked out my bedroom with some festive things and can't wait until tomorrow (I sound like a little kid, but I really do love Christmas even after all this time). Thirdly, I apologise for the lack of updates in both art and stories. Since NaNo, I've been somewhat busy and haven't really been able to work on things like new art or the next part of 'Twilight Princess: The Continuing Legend'. Hopefully, come 2008 I'll kick myself into working on these things again. In the meantime, have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. 31/10/07 Ugh! I was supposed to do some more site-tweaking before now, but I kept putting it off and never got around to it... as usual. And today is the last day before NaNoWriMo, so I'll feverishly writing about like a mad thing. Like before, if you wish to follow my progress, you only need to view my NaNo profile. So, I'll see you in December, then. If I haven't written myself into a coma before then, that is! Oh, yeah, and it's Halloween today. Bah! I don't mind the dressing up, but the trick-or-treaters do my head in! 5/10/07 Well, October's here, which means I'm getting my writing head into gear in preparation for this year's National Novel Writing Month in November. After three successful years, I'm hoping for a repeat performance again this time. So, what does this mean? Well, 'Twilight Princess: The Continuing Legend' will be put on hold during the event, as will any other projects associated with this site. Much like normal, then! I've also tweaked the 'Gary the Gryph' and 'Misc. Writings' pages a bit. Now all the stories will open in the window you're using, instead of opening in a new one. I didn't really see much point in the previous set-up, as all the stories had 'return to wherever' links anyway. See you next time. 16/9/07 Oh dear. It's been, what, over two months since the last update. Unfortunately, I've been suffering from an art slump lately, and have nothing new to show art-wise. However, after much procrastination, writer's block, and more procrastination, I have completed 'Wolf's Oath', the second story in 'Twilight Princess: The Continuing Legend'. It can be found in the relevant section in Misc. Writings, but be warned; this one's a little bit darker than 'The Return Of The King'. That's it, I'm afraid. Old news has been shifted to the archive, but there's nothing else to note, really. See you next time. 10/7/07 Again, only two new pics form this update. And again, it's one in 'Paintings' and one in 'Black and White'. I'm still working on the next instalment of 'Twilight Princess: The Continuing Legend', and I'm still trying to finalise plans on where the 'Gary the Gryph' series is headed. I've been quite busy recently, so I haven't been able to draw or write as much as I would like. There are two new pics in the Art section, one in 'Black and White', and one in 'Paintings'. I've also added a new Art link on the Links page, the awesome webcomic site, Awkward Zombie. Finally, I've moved the previous updates to a new archive page, so if you're really so bored that you want to read past updates, there you are. See you next time. 11/5/07 Some time ago, I swore off fanfictions, instead choosing to focus on fully original settings. Then I played The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess. I loved the story and characters so much, that I've decided to write a series of stories based on them. A new section has been added to Misc. Writings, called 'Twilight Princess: The Continuing Legend', along with the first story in the series 'The Return of the King'. 3/5/07 I've now got the revamped Art section online. The old, computer-coloured images have been removed, and the section itself has now been split into 'Paintings', 'Photos', and 'Black and White'. For those of you who never watched my DeviantART account, a lot of these pictures will be brand new to you. Happy browsing. 1/5/07 Welcome to the all-new FireHawk's Realm. It's been a while, but here it is. It lives! I apologise for the rather empty-looking design, but I'm still getting to grips with this web designing lark. Don't let that put you off looking around though. For now, the Art section is down, so don't bother reporting that broken link.
