NaNoWriMo From 2004 to 2007, I have participated in the annual writing frenzy known as National Novel Writing Month. Throughout the month of November, participants are challenged to write a 50,000 word story for nothing more than the satisfaction of having completed such a major task. I mainly used this event as a way to get my writing-based thoughts going again when I hadn't written anything in years. Although I have taken a back seat from the event for now, you can view my previous efforts below. Beware: Although they have been edited, they are still pretty bad in their own ways. You might be better off viewing these the way you would view a bad movie rather than a great novel. Expect plot holes, expect continuity errors, and expect the sort of silliness that occurs when a desperate writer is trying to think of ways to keep her characters occupied and to keep the story going. You have been warned. Please also note that the characters in these stories are copyright me. Start discovering the truly crazy world of my desperate mind by reading one of the stories below... Sword of Destiny (2004) - FireHawk sets up an
'Adventurer-for-Hire' business, and ends up being drawn into a legend involving a goddess' sword and two warring tribes. The Star Man (2005)
- The life of young farm hand Nigel is strange enough already, but now he has to
deal with killer lizards from outer space and a cocky intergalactic hero! Men and Monsters (2006) - When a medium threatens to unleash
a swarm of demons onto the world, a werewolf takes it upon himself to stop him. Angel's Quest (2007) - After falling from the magical Sky
Kingdom, an angel embarks on a mission to retrieve his lost memories and
rediscover his reason for falling to earth.
