Gary the Gryph 'Gary the Gryph' is my own original series about the life of a gryphon and his dragon friend. Gary was first created in 2003 as a sort of simple, mascot-type character, but as time went on I decided to give him some friends (and enemies), and started writing stories that attempted to present a different view of the creatures that appear in myths, legends, and fairy tales. That they are simply trying to get on with their own lives, and very few of them are interested in terrorising villages or kidnapping beautiful maidens (there are exceptions to this, naturally). For Gary, life is difficult enough without the so-called 'heroes' running around trying to kill whatever big, ugly monster they find. But that's what you have to deal with when you're half-eagle, half-lion, and the perfect scapegoat for every bad thing that happens. Although there is a copyright notice at the bottom of every page, I just thought I'd remind you that this series, its characters, and its settings belong to me.
