Wolf Link - A quick portrait of Link's wolf form from Twilight Princess. Pencil sketch. Link is © Nintendo.

'Who's next?' - Not my best piece, but my first attempt at a back shot. I also wanted to try drawing Falco in the Star Fox Command art style (or something similar, anyway). Inked sketch. Falco is © Nintendo.

What's that coming over the hill? - Is it a monster? (Sorry, I just love that song!) Anyway, this is a batch of Doctor Who baddies, primarily from the more recent series. Pencil sketch. All monsters are © their respective creators.

Carry - A character from Wizera's Zelda fanfiction series 'Secrets'. I thought he seemed an interesting character to draw, even if the hair did start giving me David Bowie vibes as I drew it! Pencil sketch. Carry is © Wizera.

Useful Bunny Fact: Zelda Edition - A parody of the 'Useful Bunny Facts' videos made to promote Rayman Raving Rabbids. Inked cartoon. Rabbid is © Ubisoft. Octorok is © Nintendo.

2006

Fairy dragon - This was a concept image for what eventually became the Furlis. Despite the major changes between this and the final creation, it's still a cutie! Inked lineart.

Pest Control Gryphon - After hearing about a pest control company called 'Griffin', this guy popped into my head. I must admit, it was a good chance at working with different props for once. Inked lineart.

Star Fox team portraits - The classic Star Fox team from Star Wing and Lylat Wars. I'm not too happy with how Falco turned out, but I was quite pleased with the other three. Pencil sketch. Star Fox is © Nintendo.

Good or Evil? - My take on the classic 'good side/bad side' gag commonly seen in cartoons. This time, it's FireHawk who's suffering from some sort of major decision. Inked cartoon/lineart.

The Ninth Doctor - Christopher Eccleston, my favourite Doctor Who, immortalised in pen and ink. I tried to draw one of his cheesy grins, but that didn't look right, so I stuck with this warm smile instead. Inked sketch.

Wise Old Owl - My version of the familiar 'wise old owl' character from most fantasy stories. I didn't really pin it down to one species, but I took inspiration from species such as the Great Horned Owl. Pencil sketch.

Life on Koholint - A parody of the TV series Life On Mars, this time sticking the series' main character on Koholint Island from Zelda: Link's Awakening. Inked cartoon. Sam Tyler is © whoever came up with Life On Mars. Link and Marin are © Nintendo.

2005

Dodrio - One of my favourite Pokemon, this is my version of the wacky-looking Dodrio. The heads were great fun to draw, especially since each one is supposed to represent joy, sorrow, and anger. Pencil sketch. Dodrio is © Nintendo/Game Freak.

Gryphon with staff - A gryphon wields a magical staff. A simple concept, but still interesting to draw. Unlike with most of my gryph drawings, I used photos of golden eagles as reference for the avian half. Pencil sketch.

Dragon with book - Another simple concept, this time a dragon appears to be distracted from his (very thick!) book. The shading was tricky, as was drawing the fronts claws. Pencil sketch.

Centaur - A young centaur looks defiant as it raises its hoof. This was my first attempt at drawing this creature, and it shows! Pencil sketch.
